Looking to recycle things at home or the office? Everyone has been wonderful about recycling their plants! Do you have any extra office chairs or file cabinets, maybe an extra desk? A comfortable couch for the break room at Central? Remember, we need a wide variety of items! Check with your company to see if they have any items in storage they could donate! Check out the wish list! Don't forget those cars you aren't driving or the trailers (flat, horse, etc) you aren't using anymore! Come on out for

Hills Park, Albion, IN We have been blessed by many hay farmers who had hay they wanted to get out of their barns before cutting this years hay! I can not thank them enough for donating the hay for the horses! All our divisions were running out of hay to feed the many horses we are caring for and these donations made a world of difference! Indiana Horse Rescue cares for a wide range of horses, from miniatures to draft size horses. Some come in neglected and severely underweight, others are of good weight and just need a new home, and many are in need of training. IHR's numbers are still higher than most rescues across the nation. We often take in horses being confiscated not knowing where the funds will come from to care for them. You are the supporters that keep us going. Your donations are the reason we can continue doing what we do! Without your continued support we would not be able to take in the many horses that are abandoned, neglected, or just in need of new homes. The many horses that come to the rescue need so many things: extra hay, grain, supplements, and care. Donations are always needed to care for these magnificent animals. Please tell your friends to donate today to help the horses! $1.00, $5.00,-- every little bit helps! We've seen horses going across the United States and here locally! Have you looked at the rescue horses lately? We have ex-show horses, gaited horses, driving & jumping prospects - take a look today, we may have the horse you have been looking for! Many horses come to the rescue, not only because they have been neglected, but also because some owners need to find homes for them and they are donated to the rescue so we can help them find that perfect home! Check them out TODAY! IHR Central IHR South IHR Southwest IHR Central is under new management Kathryn has moved to Frankfort to take over the management of the Central facility. We are looking for volunteers for cleaning stalls, feeding, working with green horses, and working with all types of horses. If you are near Frankfort and think you can make a difference in a horse's life, please contact Kathryn Caldwell at kathryn@indianahorserescue.com or 317-459-2189. We have a lot of work to do in Frankfort and could use anyone with carpenter skills, electrical skills, lawn, demolition, etc. Right now we are open 7 days per week (noon - dark) trying to get a lot of clean up done, but please call to make an appointment so we are sure to have someone here to help you! Indiana Horse Rescue South West will be hosting rides with the purpose of conditioning for competitive trail rides during the riding season. Check in with us for more details. Negative Coggins required. We are hosting Tour de Rescue, a competitive Trail Ride Sanctioned by Ohio Arabian & All-Breed Trail Riding Society (OAATS, Inc.) July 17th & 18th, 2010.
