Can Help IHR Southwest get heated and/or Automatic Waters in the pastures for the horses
Join Charities Across America For the National Rescue Ride,
Indiana Horse Rescue will be setting up at Indiana Horse Rescue volunteers will be setting up and
camping out on Saturday October 18th. There is also a band scheduled to play
on Saturday night for entertainment! Sunday October 19th a light breakfast
will be served at approximately 9:00AM and Registration for the Ride/Walk
will begin at 10:00AM. If you would like to camp out during the weekend
reserve your place ASAP as spots are sure to fill.

The top 20 shelters become semi-finalists. During phase 2, Zootoo and its advisors will tour these shelters and view their condition in order to narrow the 20 Semi-finalists down to 10 Finalists. During phase 3, it will be up to America to vote on the most deserving shelter. The shelter with the highest number of public votes by America will win the makeover! Any shelter, regardless of size and location can win the contest. Last year 75% of the top 20 were from small communities. $1 The Animal Rescue Site $100,000 Shelter Challenge Help Indiana Horse Rescue win a $25,000 grant! Vote for us at www.theanimalrescuesite.com and we could win $25,000 to help horses in need. The Animal Rescue Site is hosting a special challenge for eligible Petfinder.com member shelter and rescue groups. The grand prize is a $25,000 grant, and they will be awarding many other grants to rescue groups with the most votes — a total of $100,000 in grants for animal welfare organizations. IHR SW had to put off putting up fencing for the Wild Horse Refuge, due to the theft of all the T-posts. We are now working on raising the $600.00 to get the fence in place for these horses along with other projects! Our wild horse refuge is being set up to hold the nine mustangs that we currently have at our Central Division. We will still need a shelter and heated waterer for the pasture, but these horses are going to be allowed to live their lives out at the rescue as the free horses they were meant to be! We are also looking for sponsors for each of the 9 wild horses horses.
