Portland has been adopted! She has gone to a wonderful home!

Portland was born February 23, 2007. Her mom, Sweet Pea aka "Indy" is a full blooded Miniature Australian Shepherd, but we aren't sure what dad was. She was born with an Aussie trait of a naturally docked tail, however she has virtually no tail at all. She is up to date on her vaccinations and will be microchipped prior to adoption. She has been started on potty training, using potty pads. As you can see from her pictures she is spunky and loves to play. She will need to be spayed by the time she is six months old.

The pups are doing great, they are healthy chubby babies. They all received their first Parvovirus vaccine yesterday. They are learning how to use the potty pads, some are doing better than others, but they are still getting the idea. They have started hard puppy food soaked in water, but they still nurse from mom.

Pictures, Pictures, Pictures! We finally took pictures yesterday. All puppies are very healthy and doing great. Sweet Pea aka "Indy" is a GREAT mom. Five of the pups have already found new homes and will leave when they are ready to be weaned. Two of the black pups are still looking for a home, when they are ready to be weaned. Do you have room to raise a pup?

Sweet Pea aka "Indy" delivered 7 healthy puppies this morning! Her puppies will be available for adoption on 4/20/2007! There is a possibility that the Puppies are half Yellow Lab. Check back soon for pictures of the puppies!
