When trying to report abuse and/or neglect of an animal please call the
following individuals in the order below:
1) Your City or County Animal Control Officer
2) If you do not have an assigned Animal Control Officer, you can always
call the Sheriff's Office in your county: Please visit the Indiana Sheriff's Association Website for and Up To Date
listing of the Sheriff's in each county of Indiana!

3) Call Animal Protection Coalition, Inc. if you
are unable to reach the Animal Control Officer and/or Sheriff's office.
Often times the Sheriff is not familiar with animal welfare issues, our
volunteers are more than happy to assist any law enforcement officer who
need professional assistance when investigating abuse and neglect cases.
Please make sure that you have all the
information about the animal and its location on hand when calling
in a complaint.
Note: APC will not release you name as a the complainant
for abuse and/or neglect cases, unless order to by the court systems. |
