Foster an animal in need!

One Person Can Make A Difference!

We have several animals currently available to foster, including kittens,  cats, and dogs, horses, goats, etc.  Please contact us for information if you'd like to learn more about the animals that could use some good old TLC before they find their Forever Home!

Animal Protection Coalition, Inc. normally does 30 day fosters, however we have been known to extend fosters depending on the situation. When you foster an animal for APC you are responsible for ALL of the care and expense for the animal, including feed, medical care, etc. At the end of each 30 days of fostering, you send us your original receipts for everything you spent on the animal. We will then give you a tax deductible receipt for the amount you spent on the animal!

Why Foster a Rescued Animal:
Fostering gives you a chance to work with a variety of animals.
It gives you a chance to improve your training skills.
Fostering is not a lifetime commitment, you may terminate your contribution towards the Fostering Program at any point in time without any further obligations.
You get to interact with some pretty incredible animals!
The animals benefit from the home environment and the one on one contact!

Please contact our animal divisions to find out which APC animals need a foster home!

Adoption/Foster Application

How to foster a horse from Indiana Horse Rescue?

In order to be accepted into our foster program you must become a member, complete our adoption/foster application, provide two personal references, a vet reference, and photos of the facility where the animal will be kept. You may obtain a copy of the adoption/foster application by filling out our online Adoption/Foster Application, call to request an application to be sent by mail, or you may click on the links below to print a copy of the forms. Once you have been approved as a foster facility, you may make an appointment to discuss your foster capabilities so we can find the best horse that suites you and your family while the horse is waiting on a permanent home.
