Animal Protection Coalition, Inc. Volunteer

Animal Protection Coalition Inc. enlists the skills, diligence and expertise of a large team of volunteers that devote their time to caring for and working with rescue animals. As well as being responsible for the daily tasks of caring for the animals, volunteers work together in all areas of the organization including fundraising, special events, education services, adoption placement, and facility maintenance.

Experience with animals is not a necessity to become a volunteer. We welcome volunteers with varying degrees of experience. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, please contact us!

Volunteering for Animal Protection Coalition, Inc. can b hard work, but it is also beneficial and fun!
By becoming a volunteer you are:

   Helping the Animals! Without our help many of the animals would be abandoned and left to starve, possibly abused, and/or never receive the love and attention they deserve.
   Getting in Shape! The daily tasks of taking care of animals provides you with exercise, by walking dogs, grooming horses, cleaning cages and stalls, etc. This work helps you build strength and muscles.
   Creating lifelong Friendships! Working and sweating side by side trying to accomplish the same goals, creates a special bond and camaraderie among volunteers.
   Enhancing your experience around animals! Rescue animals have a variety of attitudes and behaviors. You will learn how to communicate and handle animals in a way that the animal will understand.
   Setting yourself up for some FUN! We often get invited to special events, such as Parades, Fairs, Trail Rides, Pet Expos, etc.!
